Charles B. Nemeroff, MD, PhD, the Leonard M. Miller Professor & Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Director, Center on Aging at the University of Miami Health System, addressed areas of future research at the APA convocation today.

“Micro RNA is a ripe area for new drug development,” Nemeroff said to the packed room. He also described inflammation as a “subtype of depression,” in need of more reasrch.
